Local Heritage Survey Review

All local governments are required, under the Heritage Act 2018 to compile and maintain a Local Heritage Survey of places that are, or may become of local cultural heritage significance.

The Local Heritage Survey review will be conducted in stages to allow a detailed review of each area. Stage one comprises of Midland, Woodbridge and Bellevue.

Help the City recognise, celebrate and protect your local heritage.

.

If you know of a place of potential cultural heritage significance that is not already on the Local Heritage Survey or you have further information about an existing place you wouldto see included, you are invited to enter a nomination through the map below.

Inclusion in the Survey alone does not mean that a property is ‘heritage listed’. The Survey assists the City to determine conservation policies and provide background information about local heritage.

How to submit your ‘new place’ nomination or request to change the place record of an existing place:

1. Click on the map below to begin nominating a place.

2. A new screen will appear with a map. Drag and drop a pin on the map to nominate a new place or amend an existing place.

3. Follow the prompts to provide details of your nomination.

4.The City will contact you regarding the progress of your nomination.
